Can kids wear Doc Martens?

Do DM boots come up big or small?
Martens boots and shoes run true to size (probably half a size down from your sneakers) and aren’t as big as you may imagine. The exception is the 1460s, Jadons, and Chelseas, which need to be sized down about a whole size from your sneaker.
Are Doc Martens soles good?
Doc Martens are good for your feet thanks to their cushioned “AirWair” soles. They are comfortable and supportive when walking long distances. After the initial break in period (4 to 6 weeks) they are good for the comfort of your feet as the smooth leather molds to the shape of your feet.
Can you resole DMS boots?
Martens boots can be resoled to their original state, but cobblers can work on them so you can use the shoes again. How? Julie Derrick, a cobbler, was able to refurbish a pair of Dr. Martens that were heavily damaged as the sole and the heel areas have worn through the tread using Vibram soles.

How long do Doc Martens soles last?
The iconic Dr Martens AirWair sole is famous for its hardwearing durability and should only need to be resoled in extreme circumstances, designed to see you through a lifetime. Since most Dr Martens boots are one-piece moulded, they would need to be returned to the factory for an entirely new sole to be stitched on.
How can I get documents Resoled?
Options include simply building up the worn areas of the soles and adding half rubber protect soles (Vibram brand) or adding a thicker rubber sole to the original soles to (preserving the yellow stitching and original goodyear construction). Our workshop usually completes these types of repairs for sentimental reasons.
Do Dr. Martens have a guarantee?
Dr. Martens will continue to honor all existing For Life guarantees on purchases made before the 1st of April 2018 and registered within 60 days of purchase. The guarantee applies only to the FOR LIFE boots and shoes, all of which will have the words GUARANTEED FOR LIFE on the sole.
