How many grades are there in musical Theatre?
There are eight LCM Music Theatre grades, plus two introductory levels, four performance diplomas and three teaching diplomas. The standard graded exams consist of a performance of two to four pieces and a discussion.
Is Abrsm harder than LCM?
The pieces for LCM are generally very similar in standard- often you find the same pieces in both, but generally LCM is a bit harder, I think. For example, one of their current G3 pieces was in ABRSM G5 not very long ago.
