Are pets allowed in the Zoo? No. Utah’s Hogle Zoo enforces a strict policy against admitting any pets onto Zoo grounds. This is to ensure the safety of highly sensitive animals in our Zoo collection.

In accordance with the Utah Clean Air Act, Utah’s Hogle Zoo is SMOKE FREE. Smoking of tobacco, e-cigarettes or other products that produce a vapor or smoke are not allowed. There is no smoking anywhere on Zoo grounds. This includes the parking lots and Zoo entrance.

Applicants must already be at least 14. There is no upper age limit, but all volunteers need to be able to bend, stand, and lift up to 30 pounds.
