How do you carry a Big Green Egg?
The best way to hold the egg is by the damper hole and and draft door. One person may need to hold the bottom of the egg as only one adult hand can fit inside the draft door. secure in your vehicle, tie it down, brace it to avoid movement. I would also wrap with bubble wrap if you have it.

How do you transport a Green egg grill?
There are various ways to carry them, but one of the most important things is to make sure the ceramic inside the Egg is either padded, or removed and transported separately. For our small Egg I made a stand out of 2×4’s that doubled as a crate to carry it with.
Can you use a regular pizza stone on the Big Green Egg?
Pizza will not stick to a stone that has reached an adequate temperature. Always cook on a stone that has reached at least 400F. An infrared thermometer is a great tool to have for this purpose, but letting a kamado-style grill preheat for 40-45 minutes should be sufficient to reach these temperatures.
Can you use a pizza stone instead of a ConvEGGtor?
typically the conveggtor (aka plate setter) is used for indirect cooking – including pizza. you would normally do conv legs up, grate, pizza stone because if you do pizza at >500 dome, the platesetter will be way too hot and will just char the pizza and you will be able to use the result as fuel in your next cook.
