Why is Licence to Kill PG 13?
Parents need to know that Licence to Kill is the 16th James Bond movie and the second — and last — with actor Timothy Dalton in the lead role. The producers were trying for a “darker” look and feel here, going for a PG-13 rating with stronger language and violence. More blood is shown, and there are more deaths.
Why is license to kill an 18?
Why LTK should have been an 18 Because it sits on its own enough this film. Daylights had more Bondian things going on. Licence to Kill protrudes a bit; the lack of style on Dalton, the rogue mission etc. If it was 18 then it would have been a more brutal watch.
