What does an eWON do?
The Ewon device makes an outbound connecfion via UDP or HTTPS to HMS cloud based VPN servers called (Talk2M). Using the VPN client eCatcher, authorized users are able to log into their FREE Talk2M account and connect to their Ewon router anywhere in the world.

How do you use EWON?
- 1.1 Download and install eCatcher. 1.2 Create your account by clicking on “Create a Free+ Account”.
- 2.1 Download and install eBuddy. 2.2 Connect an Ethernet cable from your computer to the eWON’s LAN port No.
- 2.5 Launch your browser and target the eWON’s LAN IP. The default username & password are both “adm”.
How does eWON Flexy work?
The eWON Flexy primarily provides Remote Access and Data Services to users. Once the field devices are connected to the router’s interface, the user’s transfer medium (LAN, WiFi, etc.) is used to relay data to the internal firewall. The firewall acts as a barrier for all malicious attempts into the system.

What ports does eWON use?
On one side, the Ewon device establishes a secure VPN connection to a Talk2M cloud server using a UDP (1194) or TCP (443) port, thereby passing through the firewall and proxy server.
How do I create a Talk2M account?
Once the eCatcher software is installed, you can launch eCatcher to create your Free+ account on the Talk2M server. Click on the “Create a Free+ account” link and the following window will show up: Enter the Account name you want to create and specify the User name, Password and Email address for your account.
How do I connect to an Ewon?
Simply highlight your eWON and click on the “Connect” button. 3.2 Once connected, if you have plugged an Ethernet device in your eWON COSY’s LAN port, you should be able to ping its IP address.
