Re: 118i – Real world experience It’s reasonably brisk if not fast. It drives normally much like a diesel (not a criticism), pulling from low revs. Ours is a manual box so it indicates to change up at pretty low revs but if you boot it does shift pretty well. Not light speed but definitely not slow.
