Not worth the extra money, but do make sure you get the bump out and stay away from the bump ins. Some of those extended balconies are in the bump ins where your view is blocked on one side. Ours on the Legend was “bump in”.

The extended balconies are “deeper.” That is, when you step out the balcony door, you have the same amount of square footage from right to left, but there is more square footage from front to back (towards the railing). It gives you more room to maneuver out there, and I find that preferable.
