Are Bahas waterproof?
Protect your Baha device from water. Your Baha® sound processor is not waterproof. Never wear it in the shower or when swimming.
Is the Baha 5 waterproof?
The device is just like all of our other Baha sound processors. It is not waterproof.
How do you pair a mini MIC 2 to Baha 5?
Quick guide for Baha® 5 Sound Processor users To pair a Mini Microphone in channel 2 press the pairing button twice. The LED will flash yellow twice every 2 seconds. To pair a Mini Microphone in channel 3 press the pairing button 3 times. The LED will flash yellow 3 times every 2 seconds.
Can you swim with a Baha implant?
A Cochlear Baha will not limit your swimming or sports activity. For more active or contact sports, it is suggested that you wear a helmet to protect your equipment. For swimming, you will need to remove the external component (much like a hearing aid). The abutment is not affected by water.
Are cochlear implants permanent?
The surgically implanted device is meant to last a lifetime. However, there have been some cases in which there has been equipment failure and the device was surgically replaced.
Is nucleus 7 waterproof?
*Nucleus 7 with Aqua+ is water resistant to level IP68 of the International Standard IEC60529. This water protection rating means that the sound processor with the Aqua+ can be continuously submerged under water to a depth of 3 meters (9 feet and 9 inches) for up to 2 hours.
